Fr. Michael J McGivney Assembly

The Fr. Michael J. McGivney Assembly was founded in 1998 and is composed of Sir Knights from the Parishes of Blessed Sacrament, Scottsdale, St. Patrick, Scottsdale and St. Joan of Arc, Phoenix, Arizona. The Assembly was named after the founder of the Knights of Columbus, Fr. Michael J. McGivney, currently on his way to becoming a Saint.

The Faithful Navigator for 2010 - 2011 is John Nichols.

The Assembly meets the second Thursday of each month. The meetings are currently held at Blessed Sacrament.

Fr. Charlie Goraieb has requested an Honor Guard for a special Mass with Auxiliary  Bishop Nevares at Queen of Peace Catholic Church 141 N McDonald, Mesa. 

Mass at 7:00pm.  Assemble at 6:30pm.

Rosary Sunday is sponsored by the Arizona Knights of Columbus and is a wonderful Spirit filled celebration.  I request all Sir Knights in our Father Michael J McGivney Assembly 2524 to attend this with your family.  If you have regalia please plan on wearing this.  This is scheduled for Sunday, October 10, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. in the Phoenix Convention Center, Halls F and G.  

Please plan on arriving an hour early, especially if you are wearing regalia.  Sir Knights in regalia parade in at the head of the procession.  The procession is very moving and is a profound witness to the many souls, groups, and parishes with a great love for the Blessed Mother and her Rosary.  The celebration includes Benediction and the entire audience praying the rosary.

In addition I ask you to join me in prayer for the success of this special celebration.
